So today I’m taking out my fidget toy to work (neatly hidden away in my pocket) and so far I do have to say it helps. Every now and then I click the buttons and it shuts my mind up for a few seconds during which I can refocus.
It’s strangely soothing. It also does give me a headache when I do it too much.
What are your findings?
The corner of the phone case.

These are the beans I want on lemmy
I can’t stop playing with them and making her claws extend/retract!
I don’t have a picture of mine but one if my favorite fidget toys is a metal mini slinky

This specific GAN356 M speed cube. Don’t buy a Rubik’s cube. The GAN cube is way more satisfying to turn. They are so incredibly satisfying I’ve bought like 4 of them after losing them/giving them to friends.

I don’t think this instance allows those kinds of pictures…
BEHOLD!

I’ve been yelled at because of these.

My old car used to have a switchblade key (Mazda 2) and that was the best fidget when I was out and about.
Right now on my desk I have a 7mm or so, heavy allen wrench that provides plenty of mindless, quiet, fidgeting. My only wish is that it would stay colder longer.
These are my top 3 favourites currently, in no particular order:
- Fuzzball Teenie by Needoh.
- Stimagz by Stimara.
- A Waffle Fidget, which I 3D printed.
I have one exactly that like that, and it’s one of my favorites for sure.
Do not have mine on me right now to make a photo. But it looks like this:

Just imagine a pic of a phone and a gaming PC.
I’ve got a fidget cube and spinner, but my lifelong tradition of finding and fidgeting with blue tac has never gone away
Doesn’t that like… make your hands all gooey and smelly?
Not a fan of that thing, I need something with more texture or a different / interesting shape I can move around in my hand.
The pod is magnetic and I pull it in and out all day lol, also hand to mouth and nicotine.I had one of those! Just recently I wondered where it went…
It was probably hidden by someone who isn’t a fan of the fact that these thing’s buttons make clicky noises.
I do wish the one side with three clicky buttons and two silent buttons made them feel different so you could avoid the clicky ones when needed without testing them.
Put a drop of super glue on the non-clicky buttons. Now you can tell without looking AND have new stimulation points.
