it is bloat. also were is your package for (insert any very obscure program). I guess your going to have to rely on appimages or building from source for this one!
I feel like there are so many people here who have never used BSD and are just vibe commenting.
I’m kinda annoyed by people who just put down my personal opinion about the state of gaming on Linux or anything by using their own experience.
I agree most of my games run fine on Linux, but I would like to try out valorant but it doesn’t work. The force feedback for the steering wheel I use with beamng requires a lot of extra setup which I haven’t gotten around to (on windows it just works). I don’t play many games but these are just some of my experiences.
I don’t believe so, they’re open source as well and you can do some research around it. I’ve used them with no issues. windows activation scripts
In case you dont already know, use protondb to find if you games will work.
My main gripe with linux is still game and other software support.
Other than that everything I can think of is so much better than windows for me.
You can just pirate windoes very easily, easier than typing in your credit card number.
Using kde rn because its easy to use.
I will spend some time to get a tiling wm eventually. Minimal resource efficiency as well as brain efficiency is very apealing to me.

I dont think so. So quoting the original post would be an effective solution.
I did not know this bot existed that is pretty cool.

Seconded Ive never tried anything else but harper works well for me.

Yeah hell naw lol. I need an actual keyboard.
Missing didn’t get enough sleep.

Might need to make sacrifices such as disabling JS or loading images. Browsers and web pages are so bloated, you won’t be able to get a modern experience with that hardware.

Kde Plasma big screen is being released soon, worth a look.
This story needs to go to the haters.
This update is needed and I hope it works. I have experienced many crashes over my relatively short experience with it over the last couple of weeks. Although Inkscape is really great software vector images are really cool.

Fairphone? perhaps. Samsung? hell naw. Samsung heavily benefits from the spyware it builds into One UI and 99% of its user base do not care about the spyware.
But I do hope hope that Fairphone begins to embrace Linux support.
Wait I don’t mean to put any shade on these developers but don’t we already have Linux and wine, why would you try to copy windows?
