Honestly computer and gaming are pretty cheap as far as hobbies go. The best possible consumer-grade PC you can get is a few thousand dollars at most
Now 3D printing sounds more expensive, but I don’t have nearly as much knowledge there :3
Initial set up cost is likely slightly cheaper for 3d printing. But unlike gaming, you can’t pirate the consumables.
Cycling, sailing, kayaking, archery, backpacking, climbing - lots of gear needed! Sigh
