Shouldn’t total ram amount always be powers of 2 (forgot the reason exactly) ? It sounds like 32 +16 wouldn’t be ideal ? I remember that from my early days, but maybe it has changed ?

It looks slick and it’s a good idea, congrats ! Here’s what I have done so far:
Change the nt_bookmarks: it works, but I noticed that for my self hosted dockhand instance on the lan, it doesn’t retrieve the favicon.ico. maybe because the URL is http://192.168.1.39:7878/ ? http://192.168.1.39:7878/favicon.ico displays the icon in firefox
Change the wallpapers: i guess you only limit to 3 so the newtab is not sluggish, I wish I could randomise from my wallpaper folder but maybe not possible due to how Firefox loads the picture for some reason ?
Next up: switch from Japanese to Cantonese
This! I after two years of Debian out of habit from the past, I switched to cachyOS last year and am pretty happy with it. Completely agree that updates feel easier to manage (so far).
However, I guess hygiene also plays a role here: dont “try” multiple audio drivers and this sort of things
Aquariums ! A perfect money and time sink. With the added advantage of hard to discard/sell elements that nobody wants after that. A real treat !

I’ve tried Kodi on librelecr, the old Xbox launcher. It has an app called kodi remote: your phone is the remote.
Currently I’m using an old 2013 laptop with Debian and xfce. I’ve installed KDE connect on it, and it also has an app KDE connect that turns your phone into the remote.
The main advantage of the remote on your phone is you can type text, copy/paste URLs, passwords and whatnot

They have sepiasearch to search peertube instances. The drawback is that only specific instances are searchable, because of dubious contents on some instances.
Mmmm i wouldn’t type them in a sequence. Rather quickly ! and then enter.
But I realise, this only makes sense in an azerty layout, where exclamation mark is close to the enter key. It’s then very fast to ! Enter and go back levels.
I agree some solutions below are more elegant
alias !=“cd …”
Approximative syntax but you get the idea.
I started with pirates of the carribean, so…
blackpearl: main PC Redpearl: raspberry pi Purplepearl: refurbished laptop. The router is … router
The phone is zizidane (“donkey dick” in French, also playword on Zinedine Zidane).
My friend had a Logitech G27 racing wheel he bought some time ago. It stopped working for him under windows11, some windows security with drivers or some other stuff like that. He gave me the wheel. I run Linux (cachyos). Plug and play. I installed oversteer for fine config. Done.
