Why yes, I’ll cook so much jam this year! And craft some lights with these!
The Fun Pimps would never.
But they are reusable. What am I supposed to do??? Throe them away??? Like a madman??
I’ll keep them stored despite the fact that I have storage issues at this point despite a decently sized house
Reminds me of milk deliveries in reusable bottles. There’s probably loads of examples but the petroleum industry really made a killing of profit with plastics and some very sensible packaging went out of the window.
I have a local co op grocer that has milk in those glass bottles. It a $3 deposit for the bottle and you just bring your empty back when you buy a new one or want a refund.
Ridiculous! We used to have around 200 in our shelf, but word has gotten out and people started asking us when they didn’t have enough. We get a bit of jam now and then in return!
This is my wife and boxes.
Why do we have sooo many empty boxes!
Everyone I’ve met that hoards boxes went through at least one period in their life where they were moving every year
They are also nifty if you have to RMA electronics. Except last time I had to do that, Asus were very explicit about they do not returned the repaired laptop in whatever you sent it in in. So I had to give up a cool box to have the perfect box to ship it in 🤷
If you shred them you can use the shredded cardboard to grow oyster mushrooms. Shiitake too but they don’t do nearly as well.
Maybe that’s why she’s saving them. Have you even asked??
This happened to me. I’m not proud of it. A couple of years ago, I started buying a certain brand of coffee in glass jars. They’re glass and they all match and THEY MUST BE USEFUL for something else. I just know it. I have about 20 of them now. They’re all empty. I just haven’t discovered what they’re useful for, yet.
It can happen to you, too.
Do you have a garage? Fill them with different sizes/kinds of nails, screws, bolts, washers, cup hooks, eye bolts, zip ties, and any type of “fix it” supplies, and put them on a shelf. If they’re located conveniently, you’ll never need to repair anything because it acts like an insurance policy.
If the shelf is awkwardly high and just out of reach, you’ll appreciate having nicely organized supplies as you balance on an upside down milk crate and lean precariously over random garden tools Final Destination style because you had a couple drinks and decided this was the day you’d finally fix that second floor window shutter that rattles loudly when it storms and the wind is just picking up so if you hurry you won’t have to listen to it again.
haven’t discovered what they’re useful for, yet.
Store spices, sugar, salt?
With the pose they’re in, I thought there was something much naughtier going on, at first.
You can put your weed in them
90% of any time in a store with my kid is spent reenacting this skit.
I think this and potions from Wind Waker are the reason I collect jars and bottles.
Me but with old computers
“Enough empty jars” 🤔 what does that even mean? These words make no sense combined in this order. My brain can’t parse it.
Some people like to collect jars after they are emptied rather than disposing them
Why was the first thought I had that the jars were full, so he was filling something else…
Because of the pose and hearts
Need a Dash of ingredients
Get out of my kitchen! 😭😭😭
how is dis so real?..
crazy…
I feel seen. I use my larger jars to keep my pantry mouse and moth free, and I store dry pulses and grains in them. Smaller jars I use for air tight storage for spices, and also for mixing and storing paint when I art.
I use my larger jars to keep my smaller jars
i had a thing with beer bottles because i once in a blue moon like to do some brewing.
Replaced them all with swingtop bottles recently. was extremely embarrasing lugging a huge bag of several dozen empty beer bottles through my apartment block to get rid of them
You want to fart in em?
I’m literally, at this moment, watching Whangs video about MLPCJP.
