The other day I spotted some blood by my favorite public bird feeder. I think I found the culprit. At first I thought this juvenile bobcat was a squirrel as there were damn near 100 scurrying around me, until I noticed those piercing eyes. She wasn’t much larger than some of the fatter squirrels. It was absolutely adorable watching her practice stalking her prey unsuccessfully.

    Super cute! And really good photos, it’s always so much fun when you get the chance to take photos of wildlife.

    We have lynxes around where I live but they stay far away from people so we never get to see them

      I’ve only ever been close to a bobcat 3 times in my life. Once when I was like 9, I was playing out in the woods behind my apartment and happened upon a full grown one maybe 30’ away. Luckily for me she kept her distance and didn’t see me as a threat or prey.
