Hi !
Welcome to our monthly thread ! I hope you are well :)
Here we will talk about feature, ui, concept accross the web and app as :
- voting for a new mods team
- nomadic identity
- collaborative writting with color
- a beautiful ui, Swiping gesture…
- accessibility idea…
- a personal project ?
Well, i hope we will find something fun to discuss and share. :)

I want to see nomadic identity, but in the here and now, I love Friendicas timeline. It treats groups and microblog content exactly the same way, similar to the way Facebook and lemmy does it. Your timeline is made up of a series of posts, and you can order those posts however you want. All of the replies to those posts become visible when you click on a post to open it, but they otherwise don’t clutter up your timeline with hundreds of contextless replies. But the powerful thing is, it displays lemmy/kbin/piefed groups, friendica groups, gup.pe style groups and regular microblog content all in the same style, and all on the same timeline (but filterable)
I wish more platforms did that!
Another i admire with frindica and its family (hubzilla is mine) is how they implemented groups, if i make a post on a group it doesnt get delivered to every one of my connection, it only goes to the community and people in it. On the other hand i can make a post on lemmy using my hubzilla account but it will show up in every one of my followers timeline since it is by default a public post.
