Cant the netherlands just build higher dams and levees, by harnassing their sizeable army of beavers and US expats?
All of the examples shown here are going to do exactly that. They are rich and higher dams and levees are a lot cheaper, then to rebuilt then to rebuilt on higher ground.
EDIT: Sorry the Bahamas might not do that. It is a national park, so nobody lives there.

Ignoring the fact that sea level rise is accelerating, the level will rise 115mm (4.5 inches) in the next 25 years.
So that sets a lower bound, it will be higher.
I did a deep dive into this. The worst is gonna be in a couple hundred years. Even if we magically stop emitting CO2. large ice masses take a long time to adapt to new temperatures
The dutch better get off their fossil fuels, cars and beef if they want a future.
The Netherlands’ current plan ends in 2050, but it has shown extremely robust and adequate to the task, so far. I expect the next iteration to keep up the standard.
It’s something that only a rich economy with a strong notion of government responsibility can accomplish.
I would be more worried about Shanghai and the US coast line.
