Fantastic message and great music for it to be played to! Love the aggression in the voice. And the almost cheesy melodies in the guitars.
Link to the album for those on Tidal.

Conform and obey is the message that shitty band peddles. Good thing they’re ending themselves lmao.

Definitely. They’ve been removed from the European tour which was also featuring Hatebreed and Life of Agony, per the article. They have also deleted their Facebook so sounds like they’re scrubbing themselves out of existence.
Mind pollution is right lol. I guess I got burnt out on so much new stuff every day, so much that even staggering it out couldn’t save my enjoyment. Thrash is forever, and I hear/look for it all the time in other branches/roots of music even when it has very little to do with metal. Interesting you’re getting into jungle and dnb, but based on our discord talks before it kinda makes sense haha.
Yea I’m all about them instrumentals, from the short, minute-long interludes to the 10+ minute epics. And quality all over the place. Either way when placed nicely in an album they break up the pace or just mix it up with some sort of variety. That last sentence kinda contradicts my first as I love to collect em lol but still. Also love when bands put out albums that are the exact same as another of theirs, just minus the vocals.
Man, I know. I’m just driving along to work in the dark morning before sunrise, in a haze, and this comes on next in the daily recommends. I’m thinking, okay, some decent atmospheric black metal instrumentation, but with heavy metal songrwriting and those guitar rhythms? What the fuck? Then the voice sent it over lol.

Lmfao dude. 🤘
Preachin to the choir on all accounts my man, love Fear of the Dark, especially the Rock in Rio version!
Truly the end of an era.
Appreciate the immediate post, brother! This sounds dope, big Saxon energy.

Normally I’d have just linked the youtube vid in the url spot when making a post, but I felt i had to specifically rip the thumbnail max res just for this xD
Hell yea, happy to find something you like again! xD I’ve been sitting on this one for a little while now, not sure exactly when to post it or whether to put it here or !doommetal@lemmy.world.

That’s rather surprising, given your love of MW and most things dirty and gritty! But now that I think of it, you haven’t ever really mentioned to me liking crust punk all that much xD
Nice lineup you got too bro! Surprised Pentagram hasnt overtaken spot 1. Though 2026 just started ;)

a couple of bears high-fiving
Edit: reference to Fallout New Vegas, but I guess the respone makes me a bit of an ass lmao.

Fantastic, my friend! Can always count on you to bring forth new faves of mine from Germany! 🍻
Fantastic - love stories like this lmao. I have a similar one, but with Finnish melodic death metal band Kalmah, I had to make a music video in power point and I chose the song “Principle Hero.” It didn’t really make an impression and my teacher was just like “…Okay.” afterwards xD.
Man I know it, it’s more than just surface level stuff cuz it takes a few listens then it grabs you and you’re a fan for life. The sum is definitely greater than any individual parts, whether it’s from this band or Power Trip or Fugitive, etc.
Hell yea, thanks for sharing this here! Upon actually completing the album now, it reminds me a ton of a more raw Heathen, with a slightly death metal edge. My fav track overall is Landlord Liquifier - the solo tickled me just right lol. Also love the closer Victims of Conception, very fitting.
