  • Mind pollution is right lol. I guess I got burnt out on so much new stuff every day, so much that even staggering it out couldn’t save my enjoyment. Thrash is forever, and I hear/look for it all the time in other branches/roots of music even when it has very little to do with metal. Interesting you’re getting into jungle and dnb, but based on our discord talks before it kinda makes sense haha.

  • Yea I’m all about them instrumentals, from the short, minute-long interludes to the 10+ minute epics. And quality all over the place. Either way when placed nicely in an album they break up the pace or just mix it up with some sort of variety. That last sentence kinda contradicts my first as I love to collect em lol but still. Also love when bands put out albums that are the exact same as another of theirs, just minus the vocals.

Man, I know. I’m just driving along to work in the dark morning before sunrise, in a haze, and this comes on next in the daily recommends. I’m thinking, okay, some decent atmospheric black metal instrumentation, but with heavy metal songrwriting and those guitar rhythms? What the fuck? Then the voice sent it over lol.
