Hello everyone. I want to introduce Omicron to Lemmy community. Omicron is modern federated blogging platform that created by modern developers with urgo for decentralized web. You can just try it, create an account or host your own instance! Here are some links fo you: Main instance: https://omicron.blog/ Project website: https://join.omicron.blog/ Full documentation: https://docs.omicron.blog/ Source code: https://github.com/the-jk-labs/omicron
i am interested in your thoughts! you can contact me at subhan@omicron.blog
I guess I still don’t understand why federation is a positive rather than a negative. Bloggers usually want to give out a single URL to their blog. Plus there are more failure points.
