      There was an exploit in some firmwares that allowed it to be done. This story is about the guy who created the project to allow that.

      If you’ve updated your PS5 anytime recently those bypasses won’t work for you.

      By not buying ps5. You bought it with expectation of running linux on it?

        There used to be a time where you bought hardware and MAYBE you could do more with it. The assumption being that someone is going to fuck you over later so you can do less with your hardware sucks.

          Well, there is an assumption like this with playstation, and this assumption exists since ps3. I’m not saying that it wouldn’t be great if there were an ability to install whatever you want.
