So this FediHood looks like to be similar to Jodel, “the hyperlocal community” app that is popular here in Finland, or Yik Yak that served as its inspiration. Good thing! Some time ago I thought that a Fediverse version of that app would be great. Might as well try to establish some Finnish prescence on FediHood, because why not?
By the way, that markdown link isn’t working, I am getting an error page on my home instance.
@QuentinCallaghan It’s been almost 10 years since I got in on a fedi project in its earliest days so this should be fun. Like yeah at the end of the day it’s another take on microblogging, but I like the geocentric focus, and it gives people options if they prefer that to a reddit-like focus of Lemmy and PieFed.
