Imagine a waiter starts telling customers what foods they are allowed to eat. He wasn’t the chef, the manager, the owner, anybody.
That’s how stupid it was.
More like the waiter starts crossing out everything on the menu that’s not to their taste and telling the diners the kitchen ran out.
It was an overstep of authority AND total dishonesty.
And then when the customer pushed back against his advice, he added rat poison to their order.
And then shit on the floor screaming about how it’s all the customer’s fault that he’s losing his job, before storming out of the restaurant.
