About a year ago, not sure when exactly, @serpineslair@lemmy.world posted about this band. Well today I’m here to present to you their first LP after I got a lil curious seeing if I could follow up on some previously covered bands.
Band still has Iron Reagan/Municipal Waste’s pipes at the front, and Cannibal Corpse’s drummer on sticks and they produce some sludgy crust infused crossover thrash, but this is mostly on the punk side of thngs. Totally understated, I can kinda see why this underrated release isn’t really talked about, but it still fuckin rocks lol. I actually love the vocals here quite a bit more than on MW’s stuff, so maybe it’s time I revisit Civic Refuse.
