Traditional doom metal/rock, in the same vein as our good old Sabbath. From Italy, this is their debut album, released in 2016. Linked is the fourth track, with a great set of pipes from the vocalist - not too much reverb on her, thankfully. And when the guitars ramp up after the quiet opening, some great catchy bits. Cymbals stand out a lot as well, a very crisp sound from them, almost a little too distracting lol.
Woah, wasn’t expecting that at all. Though I think I kinda dig it, despite it not being my usual cup of tea. Powerful intro, but that sorta stuff loses my interest after a while, so I might find myself skipping past the bulk of it on future listens. That’s not a complaint mind you, more of a personal shortcoming if anything xD. It is a really nice touch.
Thanks for this, likely going to devote some time to some of their other material in future. I’ll let you know what I think, maybe make another post if I make any fruitful discoveries. Cheers!
