“Wtf? Not another Arch Enemy track again! What the hell is Myr thinking??” Thrash fucking metal, my friends. This track comes to you from a re-release of their 2001 album, which included some covers and rerecordings of old songs as bonus content.
This one here features their first vocalist Johan Liiva before he was replaced by the up and coming Angela Gossow, one of the first prominent female vocalists in death metal. I enjoy Johan’s voice just a smidge more than the voices from later Arch Enemy albums, but that’s just my opinion. When I first heard it tho, I kinda didn’t like him lol.
Anyway, this is a thrash metal track coming from a melodic death metal group. And I fucking love that combo of things so enjoy a bit of the shit I loved growing up, once more!
