Soundtrack to the end of the world. Messy mix of death metal/thrash metal/crust punk - when mixed all together you get a prime example of “stenchcore.”

Hailing from Poland, this band released their debut in 2000, and split up in 2011. Linked is the amazing opener to this chronicle of final days.

That is truly excellent, utterly bad ass punk riffage with a heavy, syrupy slather of death/thrash sensibilities and atmosphere. Reminded distinctly of, Sacrilege and Amebix.

I’m honestly really surprised more don’t talk of this particular group/album, but yea it really is something special.

I’m guessing this sound just was not moving records in the early 2000s. Combine that with the fact that they weren’t very prolific, and you get a band that flies kinda under the radar. I managed to find a live taping of them, I gotta say, this would’ve been an incredible band to see live.

Nice find! And I’d have to agree on all points lol. I find myself gravitating more towards crust punk after discovering so much more hardcore punk stuff, even genuinely love neo-crust. But that’s like within a few weeks/months ago; had I heard about this band sooner I would have been singing its praises to anyone with any love for punk or extreme metal!
