I’ve come to really appreciate the multiple facets of doom metal recently, similarly with overcoming my aversion to crossover thrash metal and punk/hardcore. Crypt Sermon play epic doom metal with a heavy riff-focused center and it can almost be seen as power metal by some, the band’s primarily still in the heavy metal sector. Even since falling in love with their very recent singles, especially A Fool to Believe, I had to go back and check out their earlier stuff and I feel like I’ve found gold. Allow me to share with you my spoils!
