The second album from this modern brutal thrash band of Norway, released in 2019.
Takes the collective sounds from Slayer, Sepultura, and Death and combines into something that just doesn’t suck at all. We’ve all heard this shit before and I’ve shared plenty a band this past year that have the same riffs. But for some reason, these guys stick the landing on this album. It’s produced perfectly for the type of aggression and speed they were going for here, every musician here is on point - from the Cavalera-esque vocals, to the primitive simplistic Ventor-ish drumming, and even the… guitars lol. The vision is immaculate, if derivative.
I recommend the whole thing, but will link the opener titled Open the Tombs.
