Chile is rich with thrash metal and many different forms of extreme metal overall. Today’s band released their latest album in 2019, and sound extremely close to their fellow countrymen - Demoniac, Ripper, Drencrom - ALL of which got their center of inspiration from Kreator’s Pleasure to Kill. If you aren’t a fan of that kind of brutal, punishing thrash, I guess this won’t be for you.
This band is closer to the black and death side of metal, with the blast beats and the heavily-reverbed harsher voice, but the old school Kreator sound is still there. Linked is the title track of the album, but I also recommend the track Nüyün Epew, because I love instrumentals that much lmao.

I am, unsurprisingly a “fan of that kind of brutal, punish thrash,” This whole rips, I’m pretty sure I’ve heard a lot of these riffs before, but the blend they’ve put on here is still plenty unique and right up my alley.
It’s really amazing how the fans of Pleasure to Kill in one country could spin off their own tangent and create so much new stuff that’s nearly as great lol.
It really is one of the most originative (as opposed to simply “original”) metal records, period, no qualifiers.
Imagine the “what-ifs” if Kreator continued down that road… Sadly we live in reality where money is a real thing. at least that’s my best guess as to why they kept changing up their sound, or even perhaps they felt they explored all of the… Extreme Agression (😉) out of it.
