I think I found the origin of the term Pizza Thrash™ xD. Boston, Massachusetts hardcore punk/crossover thrash. This sophomore album came out in 1987 and sounds like a less serious Cause for Alarm from Agnostic Front - matter of fact, one reviewer put it succinctly: “It’s Cause for Alarm for people who prefer cheap beer over heroin” lmao. Linked is the second track, my pick from this album upon first listen, though Party with the Devil is pretty damn good too.
