This is not thrash metal. It is very closely associated with it tho - crust punk and metalcore/hardcore, with some blast beats even. The guitar tone is very sludgy throughout and everything about this release is pissed off and hateful - a great time for stirring up your inner rage, make it outer lol.
Band is from Boston, Massachusetts, USA, and this debut EP was released in 2010. Linked is the closer to this release, the longest hardcore song I can think of lmao.

Very interesting! I do notice a ton of em (edit: crosses) turned upside down in the negative space around the head, matter of fact it’s just very busy overall behind the head lol. Also our good boy has a barbed wire in his mouth this time which could represent a slew of things altogether. These difference are rather subtle overall, especially upon first glance!
Oh I noticed the barbed wire just now, which didn’t exist in the one you posted! This album cover just keeps getting better. It’s really good too.
