I did not know Warrel Dane (R.I.P.) had a thrash/power band before Nevermore. Been spinning this one a couple of days and now share with you my pick for today from this album. He definitely sounds younger here, maybe he won’t be so grating to listen to lol. This band definitely doesn’t have the groove elements of Nevermore, so it’s a little more “pure.” :p
I actually quite enjoyed this, despite not liking Nevermore. Perhaps, like you said, it is the lack of the groove element.
