When growing up however, I’ll admit I was drawn into the speed and virtuosity of Painkiller and dismissed this as not heavy enough. But having gotten older my taste definitely changed and I understand why JP got the chance to create their most well regarded piece in the first place, as THIS right here was the “Painkiller of early Judas Priest” or maybe even of heavy metal in general, at least in terms of impact lol.
