Sweden’s melodic death metal darlings released an EP in 2013 that pays tributes to their idols, as shown in the fonts on the album art lol. this is still death metal due to the growls, but I hope you permit me share this as I feel the spirit is within NWOBHM and trditional heavy metal in general.

Ordinarily I would say this is a better fit for the dm community, however despite the growls, the music itself is still very rooted in heavy metal, so I’ll let it slide ;).

Ha, thanks. I had forgotten about it too, but the one song called “Stand Up to Go Down” about dating a taller woman was funny enough of a joke to come back to me randomly before my daily posts today lol.
