Progressive heavy metal is probably the best subgenre descriptor I can give this? It’s also got some power and gothic metal and a teeny-tiny touch of thrash in there, but definitely not enough to post over in !thrashmetal@lemmy.world lol. This album came out Jan 1st, 2006 and features the vocalist from The Lord Weird Slough Feg performing with another vocalist in a dramatic fashion. Loads of organ keys are backing the riffs in the main sections throughout the album and really gives this unique feel - and I do recommend the whole thing but I’ve linked my standout for the day.
