4 months agoFirst time on meds, I had the feeling that someone was behind my back pushing me gently and helping me when doing move like getting out of my chair.
It was very disturbing as it now required very low effort for me to physically move when needed, while it was really difficult for me to do this.
It was also during the first week that I wanted to cry because I was feeling so much in control of myself, of my feelings and able to stand correctly under pressure without crumbling.
It’s 1 year and a half now, and thinking about going without ritalin is just scary.
I have Frigate with a TPU, that is connected to Home Assistant.
As soon as we leave the house (and HA detects us outside of “home”) it enables recording and motion detection on Frigate.
A blueprint for frigate allows to send notification on motion detection.
It’s a simple but frustrating setup to put in place (thanks to Coral USB TPU lacking proper docs / updates) but now it works nicely.
You don’t need Frigate+ but you could do a 1-shot buy to get enhanced detection models (my cats are often detected as persons and triggers false warning, FG+ should help)
