2·10 months agoThe way that gofundme page is worded and coupled with Soliman’s llm-like writing style… I still wouldn’t trust it. This reeks of scam. Unless they can really produce the pictures you mentioned.
1·2 years agoI had issues with a new version of glibc that prevented me from working on music in Ardour on Manjaro. I then proceeded to force-downgrade glibc (in the hopes of letting me get back to work) and that broke sudo and some other things, which I found out after rebooting. That was an interesting learning experience. Now I snapshot before I do stupid stuff. :]
Odd, that is exactly what they’re commenting about. The logo is part of the project, the face of it, in fact. Just because you are focused on the more technical details of the project doesn’t mean people, who would actually end up using the software, share the same perspective. Yeah, they could have worded their reply better, but being pretentious back at them is a bad look too.
