Who’s certifying it?

Mosquitoes aren’t attracted to UV light, so any that get zapped are purely by luck.

Is there a point having this up for discussion on an instance where one party has largely been blocked / shadowbanned? Take it to one of the neutral comms if the intention is good.

The joy of ninja edits, huh?

Yes, Rimu is the main developer of piefed. While the project originally started with very noble stated goals, Rimu is turning out to have some very strong opinions and uses his control of the software and his adminship of the main piefed instance to impose those opinions on everybody. Very often so far, his actions and his stated reasons do not line up. In a way, it’s even worse than lemmy where at least the software is free of the ideological beliefs of the devs.
If you’re on piefed.social, there’s a lot of content being censored you might not even be aware of. About half of that is said controversy about piefed.

They’re both correct. This is akin to correcting somebody because they’re using British / American English and you’re using the other.

Niche communities! We need more of them.
Not an expert, but I don’t believe they’re compatible enough on the backend for migration. You basically set a new one up from scratch.

Sounds like you’re confused between solarpunk the literary genre and solarpunk the social movement. This comm is about the latter.

You’re replying to one of said alts here.

Honest question - is it mainly the religious ones falling for this? Or just a bias in my observation.

Last tried them about a year plus ago, so I don’t remember much. Will probably give them all a shot while looking for a new webui

The guy was… opinionated. And he didn’t like anybody who didn’t share his opinions. I’m reasonably certain I’m there because I was one of the first guys to cheer Luigi on.

Oh no, I’m not the original author, I just reposted for extra visibility :)
Credit to GemAlarm, db0, and probably a few others I’m not aware of.

Yeah, it’s frustrating that in many ways Tessaract was the best web UI lemmy had. And then they go and do this. Hopefully somebody else will take over maintenance of it.

Your comment has a number of upvotes, which I suppose means others are seeing the outdated link somehow as well. For anybody who can’t get the file, try this link:

That’s weird. I did update my original link, but that was some time ago. Are you seeing a link to file.garden or catbox.moe? If the latter, try refreshing or clearing your cache.
Hadn’t realised those were a thing!
