What are your thoughts on xmpp? Recently I have come to like a lot and am pretty active with friends there.

Tumblr will probably join fediverse soon, if the announcement is correct. A lot of people are asking about Pinterest alternative in fediverse, but I never saw one. Btw, for anyone looking at a Flickr alternative, I feel like they should look into https://vernissage.photos/ .

I don’t get the point of asking people on some forum or similar to upvote a feature request. If it is an useful feature, people will naturally upvote.
