I have a subscription for duckduckgo and have been using their chatbot to learn about gardening. I’ve only been fucking with plants for 2 years. It can spit out climate zones, water cycles, grafting and propagation tips along with the scientific name to double check against Plantnet.org.

It’s great for a dictionary / thesaurus when it comes up and can reasonably answer questions that normies would ask on reddit for everything else.

PS. Plantnet also has a mobile app that can try to identify plants from a photo, presumably with AI down the line. It usually matches the family name unless you have something ultra exotic.

Overcoming one more barrier to entry.

Windows is gone

Sounds like secureboot shinanigans. Windows just needs to be on its own total drive.

I’d just use Kubuntu. Had to fix CachyOS twice this year.

The minute I saw the Steam Frame was arm based and running Linux, that means a Linux distro for arm processors should get a lot better. I’m hoping this implementation is some what backwards compatible so I can try to put it on a rooted phone.

I have a Bluetooth dongle headset-mic. Probably for the same buffer reason, it constantly breaks audio when I have multiple audios in/outs running.

The only consistent fix is switching to another audio driver and playing a video on YouTube while I switch it back.
