Referring to trans people as “insane” for being trans is transphobic, and a bit ableist. I’m not talking about your personal experience, but your presumably unintentional transphobia.
Actually, this town has more than enough room for the two of us

No problem! Federation should resume by the end of the month.
You can pseudo-curate by only subscribing to your most prefered instance of comm, but you won’t be able to see instances with allow-lists as the basis, rather than block-lists.
There are many different workarounds, I personally don’t put much stock into sorting by “all” generally, sorting locally tends to be a better experience and has less repetition.
It helps to see communities as categories for an instance, each instance will have a different response to the same post based on the general instance vibe and culture. That’s also why picking a good instance to browse locally can be pretty useful.
“Tankie” is a caricature. The idea of a tankie is the ideal vision of a McCarthyian Communist. In reality, the overwhelming majority of people labeled as such don’t actually fit that label, it’s more of a way to cast an image of someone’s positions based on, say, support for AES countries, and twist that into the evil Commie Pinko that haunts the dreams of 1960s children in the US.
Either way, Lemmy.ml has a higher standard when it comes to racism, ableism, homophobia, and other forms of chauvanism. Many people are critical of Russia, the DPRK, CPC, etc yet don’t get removed because they don’t break those rules. Moreover, I am not a representative of Lemmy.ml, I am no fan of Nutomic and have stated that before, transohobia is unacceptable no matter who does it.
As for MwoG, I have seen it, and I don’t really care for an anti-communist drama community polulated by stalkers, doxxers, and drama-baiters that take things out of context or fully stand by bigotry unironically (that’s where the transphobia from the SJW admin came from, you’ll notice).
Yep, that also works. Is CSAM blocked by sdf? I presume not if the blocklist is literally empty, but I’m not sure if that counts.
I’m a Marxist-Leninist, sure, whatever you want to call that. SJW is generally seen as right-wing for hosting some of the most pro-US and anti-communist communities, and having an admin that thinks China and Russia are pushing “gender politics” to radicalize western youths against the US. This is MAGA-tier conspiracy theory nonsense and undermines the real struggles faced by transgender people in order to push their own political agenda.
You yourself essentially just stir up drama and repost content from Lemmy.ml, which is kinda silly. Same with trying to make “Tankie Triad” a thing, Marxists occupy far too much of your time for someone who presumably isn’t a Marxist.
Fair enough, but I think you should just take care with that. Do a bit more research before jumping to insults that can be damaging to people’s gender identity.
It’s a site by and for Communists and a safe space for queer users, it isn’t that complicated. I’d also recommend not calling it an insane asylum, as @OpheliaAzure@lemmy.blahaj.zone said it has one of the biggest trans userbases on Lemmy and that’s frequently used as a transphobic insult, not to mention the ableism.
Historically, many stick and many bounce off.
Nothing, but instances can defed from them if they wish and they can’t stop that either.
Every instance has a “rep,” sh.itjust.works is generally seen as right-wing.
The admins managed to get Hexbear.net back and the sale of the domain was stopped.
You can pick a less “reddit-coded” instance. Lemmy.world is pitched as more of a reddit-clone, but other instances have niche subcultures or other fun characteristics like unique emojis. It’s less about size and more about policies and structures that cause something to become “reddit-like.”
Hexbear isn’t “trans only,” however according to surveys is about 50% trans/nonbinary, and is regularly pitched as one of the 2 largest trans positive instances, alongside Blahaj.zone.
