Had the same issue when I was writing a sci fi story with write freely. Sure you can see the view count go up, but without interactivity or feedback, I was just no longer motivated even though I had the rest of the story partially outlined :(
What about starting ones own Website/Weblog?

The process of writing a (somewhat) longform text usually leads to learning. But I get it, it’s not particularly interactive by itself.
