It would be cool if there was a community dedicated to helping people get better at making visual art, e.g. art education, learning, advice requests, feedback, etc.
Is there anything like this already? I had a search around and couldn’t see anything much. There is !arttutorials@lemmy.world, but it’s fairly dead, and doesn’t cover lots of the things above.
If there isn’t already something like that, would people be keen for it?
If someone sets one up, I’m pretty sure a lot of people would use it. You can cover a bit with the “art share” one, but it’s not really set up for discussion for stuff like “art education, learning, advice requests, feedback, etc”. I think you’ve got a lot of secret art people lurking who’d be happy to give information and advice.
