It would be cool if there was a community dedicated to helping people get better at making visual art, e.g. art education, learning, advice requests, feedback, etc.

Is there anything like this already? I had a search around and couldn’t see anything much. There is !arttutorials@lemmy.world, but it’s fairly dead, and doesn’t cover lots of the things above.

If there isn’t already something like that, would people be keen for it?

      Nothing in particular, I was just referring to the “this is a dark place” thing in the side-bar. I think that excludes a fair bit of art (which is fine, to be clear)

        It does have a vibe, but that full quote is meant to be more of a humorous aside than a guide. The posts are a better gage for what belongs, which is almost anything art related.
