Knowing that someone likes it gives me the strength to keep moving forward and finish this story.
There is still a lot of work ahead. The world has a huge amount of lore that needs to be revealed.
I stopped drawing back in school—I don’t even know why…
And now, at 34, I’ve decided to make my dream come true.
AHah, maybe it’s a midlife crisis. )))))
Well, I for one am glad that you’ve decided to revisit your creative side :)
As you say, it’s a pretty big project ahead of you, so take care to not “bin it” over a minor setback.
If you get overwhelmed by the sheer size of the project, remember that a lot of people producing illustrative art (even the professional and famous) will often split their work up into Part 1, Part 2 etc - so no harm in releasing single chapters if it makes the process more manageable - and additional positive feedback at each step might carry you through the next bit.
Anyway, if it’s a midlife crisis, it’s a good one :)
I’m going to call it a “graphic novel”. Anyway, great job - it looks like a “proper” graphic novel, you’ve captured the quality and style perfectly.
There’s not a shred of inexperience about it, so though it’s your first one, it looks like you’ve been doing them for years.
Excellent.
Thank you so much!!
