I think the critique there isn’t against trying to convince people that anarchism is possible, but specifically the “marketplace of ideas” framing. Because the “marketplace” framing kinda implies that our ideas are on the same level of genuineness, correctness, and backing by power as everyone else’s ideas, which is clearly not the case, e.g. the fact that liberalism is the de facto and de jure monoculture in the West.
