I just wrapped up three more of these things, what does everyone think?
The bottom half are various stones I’ve collected, with a layer of dichroic glass on top, followed by a layer of plain glass. I then cut and polish them. It takes a long time, but it’s really meditative work.
My setup is a tile saw, a cheap faceting machine from china (don’t buy them, they’re garbage), and a wet polisher in a vice. I do also have a giant wet belt sander I got at an estate sale, but I need to replace the upper tensioner before I can use it.
