Pretty much, the main reason i went back to pirating media rather than using any of the streaming services. For a brief period streaming services we’re starting to seem like a good alternative.
Pirated 1080p movie is better quality than any of the streaming services “1080p” variant, due to lower bitrate. Even if downloaded ahead of time which should be the best quality possible and not dependant on internet connection. Completely unexcusable.
Not to even start with fucking region locking.
People praising audible as the best place to get audiobooks. So i gave it a shot. Literally the first book i bought was region locked. To add salt, i could buy it without any warning, but not listen. Fuck this. Removed the DRM, uploaded it out of spite and went back to sailing the high seas.
