    To be absolutely crystal clear: Jessie does not oppose anti-fascist work literally at all. Quite the opposite! But their point is that only anti-fascism is not enough, in particular that leftist media needs to imagine alternative visions of a better world.

    As everybody else I haven’t watched the 2.5h video but my thought was: Just llike Fight Club was supposed to criticise toxic masculinity but dudebros where too full of testosterone to understand that and made it their fav movie maybe Andor is the opposite of that? That “nonpolitical” (🤢) dude accidentally made a leftwing series?

      Actually, a big part of their critique is how Andor is not a “leftist” show, and that “leftist” shows coming out of Hollywood aren’t really a thing. In particular: for the most part, Andor does not put forth an alternative vision for the future after the revolution.
