There these vocals that I don’t really have a name for them besides calling them “Peste Noire vocals” because I first heard them L’envol du grabataire (Ode à Famine) but they’re obviously more noticeable on Dueil Angoisseus. Throughout Amesoeurs - Ruines Humaines, and at 3:50 Amesoeurs - Faiblesse Des Sens

EDIT: Peste Noire and two members of Amesoeurs, are facist white-supermacists. And no, didn’t know that “Peste Noire” means “Black Pest” in French 🤢

Would still like this style of vocals from less bigot bands

    Closest things I can think of are bands in the black gaze/depressive/post bm genres. I don’t listen to a lot of those but…Try alcest, mizmor, møl, lantlôs, heretoir, mare cognitum, deafhaven or old solstafir.

      I’m not too big on black gaze as well. Although I’m into depressive, Mizmor is great ❤️‍🔥 PS: (I am aware that Mizmor is Black/Drone/Doom) You know Doom makes a great blend with depressive, something like “Nostalgisk Katarsis” by Livsnekad
