I have a XPPEN Deco mini 7 v2, and after finishing a drawing session (doesn’t matter if it is a long one, or a 10 min ) my head is just killing for some time. While using it i get this sweet poking feeling in the upper front of my brain(it’s the same place i get the headache after turning off the tablet). If you’ve ever had these symptomps and you found a better product let me now. (I had the same symptoms using bluetooth small earphones)
This is going to sound crazy, but I’ve recently learned that sensory overload triggers my migraines. I have that xppen and don’t use it because it isn’t as smooth as my iPad. It causes more sensory input to my brain, if that makes sense.
Your Bluetooth headphones might be heavier than others or exerting some pressure on you that is triggering your headaches. My ANC headphones do that to me because they need a tight seal around my ears to properly block out sound.
Intresting
Have you gone to get your eyes checked? If you need prescription lenses, that could be an issue. Also try glasses with blue light filter.
I get these symptoms while using bluetooth earphones
No idea if this is related, just throwing out a perspective from a gaming handheld view. People often have a similar complaint, and say it’s due to PWM flickering. I don’t know all the details as it doesn’t effect me, just that having a 120hertz screen with PWM enabled fixes it. Could be something worth looking into.
Not really, (l’ve used different brands, tho) but I don’t think it’s the tablet.
have you been using a drawing tablet for long? Or is it something new for you? Maybe you are adjusting to the process. Imo, tablets without display have a significant learning curve.
Also, how long are your drawing sessions? make sure to take breaks!
Or, It could be your posture what’s causing discomfort.
Idk I’m just spitballing here, heh.
Nn, bluetooth related
