When you’re all about that demoning thing but it’s Friday and you’re going out!
I would.
I like the colors, especially the contrast between the people skin and whatever that orange stuff is on it. Makes me think of coral.
Thank you! I’m not sure what the orange stuff is either, just needed some detail that made it not feel like a Halloween costume.
Love the perspective!
Thank you! I want to draw more stuff from different perspectives but it’s so damn hard.
Yeah, foreshortening hurts my brain, I’m not great at it lol 🥲
But practice makes better!
Yes it does, eventually 😂
Whoa this is so cool. The colors and the shadows and the angles are epic
Oh thank you! Foreshortening is a bitch! Needed a lot of reference help for this one.
Yup I feel that lol
Looks great! I love the colors.
How is your burn?
Much better. I no longer need to wear bandages but it’s 6 months until my skin is back to normal they said. No direct sunlight and lotion 3x a day. Right not it looks like rare to medium rare prime rib in color.
And thank you on the colors!
You’re welcome! I’m glad you’re feeling better. When it happened to me, the thing that haunted me was the smell, and I was very anxious for a few decades about having to perform the activity that caused it, but I couldn’t avoid it and eventually got over myself.
Trauma from things like this is normal. How long ago did it happen to you?
When I talked to the staff in the burn unit they got pressure cooker injuries all the time which is wild to me. They even had a whole form I had to fill out both times I went in which was all about identifying how much trauma I was experiencing.
Several decades ago 😅
Ouch, burn care was a lot different then. I can only imagine how it hurt. I know the first few days after mine I didn’t think I could do it. Caring for the wounds hurt so much.
I can remember that it was extremely painful and that blisters were coming a few days after the initial burn, but I don’t remember the exact pain., thankfully. And I remember the family that was there for me as I healed. You’ll be tender for a bit; but I daresay you will remember your wife’s support long after your new skin is not tender. I’m glad you have good support and a good attitude. That’s key to healing.
Without a doubt, my wife is the best! She’s my favorite and I tell her that all the time.
It’s amazing being married to my best friend.
I totally want a hoofjob now.
I don’t… I don’t know what to say to that… 😂
