Very interesting creature, seldom found but very memorable.

She is a sea nymph whose legs are wrapped into a silky dress with flowers and delicate plants and vines surrounding it, Vilia eternally hovering in the remote corners of the world, where only the sea waters live on, no lands for thousands of kilometers.

I fell smitten with her concept the moment I found her, decades ago, in those remote seas while playing Final Fantasy 5 and actively looking for obscure enemy encounters.

I was but a kid and I jumped when she suddenly appeared - how could I expect a creature so beautiful yet so lethal and relentless, cursing the main characters each turn with nasty status effects and no-selling anything expect the deadly but very iffy to hit with “Stone” status effect?

She is very interesting for being an elusive and overalla minor enemy, to the point she might as well be the focus of an episode of a TV series dedicated on exploring the backstory of the more interesting creatures from RPG games.

Since then, I always dreamed, and keep dreaming, about a visit by Vilia to my dreamscape when I sleep.

Protip: her original in-game sprite is the clear inspiration for Final Fantasy 7 heroine Aerith, the two girls haircuts and faces are identical and both are floral themed magical beings.
