So I kept seeing the memes and identifying with them, until I started asking you questions, which lead to asking how to get diagnosed. And after a visit to the neuro and a questionnaire later, I’ve joined the club. TBH, it lifted a weight off my shoulders.
I will begin treatment as soon as the damned insurance clears the request for medicine. I’m hopeful about the future.
They’re giving me METH. “Amphetamine salts” is the official name. I was impressed at how easy the whole thing was. A pathetically easy to cheat questionnaire and I had access to a small amount of hard drugs. Or will have, once the insurance clerk deems the PA worthy.
BTW I generally avoid medication unless I must take them, and have insomnia just by drinking coffee in the morning, so I’m not looking forward for the stimulant effect. But if that calms down the inner attention monkey, I’ll try.
“Amphetamine salts” is Adderall, not meth. Same family, but meth is like supercharged and way more euphoric apparently.
You’re right, it was just hyperbole.
