100% accurate and I’m excellent at math. Lose focus during the trivial part and the next thing I know, I have no idea what’s going on.
This is why lectures should be obsolete at this point. Lectures should be a video done really well once. Class should be practice time where you can ask experts for help when you get stuck.

I’m the same. I have recently taken up algebra again, in my middle ages and medicated, to see if I was capable. Turns out math is pretty fun.
I had a professor in college who used PowerPoint, would go way to fast, and she would stop the class if you took a picture to yell at you for stealing her IP. I learned basically nothing about linear algebra because of her. I would like a refund for that class.
