My hobby’s include or have included skiing, surfing, skateboarding, running, painting, silversmithing, lapidary, welding sculpture, backpacking, knitting, sourdough making, general baking, gardening, aquaponics, pond building chickens, rockhounding, rock tumbling, mosaic making and yoga.

Right? I don’t understand why it’s considered bad to start and abandoned hobbies that didn’t work for us. Hobbies are supposed to be pointless activities we do for our own enjoyment.
