The '99/00 new year was a wild time because everyone waited to see if something had its update missed that would cause mass chaos. In the end nothing of consequence happened.

Not a boomer, but was in Uni in '99. The '99/00 new year was a wild time because everyone waited to see if something had its update missed that would cause mass chaos.
In the end nothing of consequence happened.
