Okay very good to know. I see so much smack talk about Ubuntu and never really know why. I get users people don’t like Gnome as much as KDE.

I guess for my use case which is very minimal compared to most, Ubuntu works great. I get all my real creative work done on Mac and Ubuntu is just my fun machine.

I use Ubuntu and have never had issues with it. I liked my time on Bazzite but Ubuntu just feels like home. Bazzite didn’t feel any snappier than Ubuntu does, and both feel miles ahead of Win11 on our work computers.

I never got banned but have left on my own accord. I hope Lemmy really picks up because it’s still pretty niche.

Reddit is like a casino now with the mini games, achievements, micro transactions, etc. it’s beyond annoying. If Apollo was still around I would use it but their proprietary app is dog water.

At this point I’d be surprised if they are doing better than breaking even.

I’ll give it a go. Anything to not give adobe money.

For real. I haven’t even got the opportunity to buy the first one yet. Been on the waitlist since it was announced.

Once I bought a steam deck, I switched to Linux like a year later. Never looking back. I use Mac for Lightroom and the Apple ecosystem stuff. Next thing we will ditch is Xbox. I don’t want to give any money to Microsoft.

I’m not gonna lie, not being able to buy it makes me want the steam machine less. Sadly I don’t even need one to begin with.
