Good. Instagram is filled with them to the point you can’t tell what’s real and what’s not.

I use Udemy when I need a crash course on something.

Seriously? They’re banning people now over them having ethical concerns???

What’s GNOME’s stance on this?

Proxmox with Kubernetes and containerization can allow you more easily manage your services and to have less downtime. But, as you said, it adds another layer. Is it worth the time to set it up? Over a long period, yes.
As a DevOps/Developer/Sysadmin, I’d probably use it if I set up a lot of services. If I just have some kind of file share thing, probably not.

This is EXTREMELY disappointing. KDE is my favourite DE.

Hell yeah 🤘

My main issue is that the packages are really behind though. Even more so than Debian.
I wish there was a good in-between. Ubuntu was a good sweet spot, but I can’t stand how they keep forcing their technology on their users anymore.

Not yet. I suppose it shouldn’t be long…

Omarchy: I’m a fascist, btw.

What’s Devuan’s position on this? They already forked after the SystemD switch. Here’s to hoping they also flip the bird to AI.

I’ve always wondered how the fuck people do that? Absolute wizards.

lots of comments on the video with dhh sound like very fake bots repeating the same few things.
Right??? No way so many people are enthusiastic about AI in Linux like that.

This explains the YouTube channel that popped up in my feed called NetworkChuck, where a trad-male bearded bro was raving about this distro and saying how everyone should use it because of its AI features and it’s creator, and then proceeds to do a fucking prayer for his viewers at the end of the video.

If you use it, you’re enabling fascists, which makes you, by relation, a fascist.

“I’m a fascist, btw”
- Omarchy users probably

I’m not talking about individuals or mom and pop shops. I’m talking major banks in Canada, big corporations, etc. They need stuff like Data Factory, DataBricks, Functionapps, Logicapps, solid redundancy across multiple regions, etc.

For everything else, like Windows, Office, Teams ,etc. That’s easy.
But, every single business I worked at in the past 5+ years have been on Either MS Azure Cloud or AWS. Replacing cloud infra services is going to be very difficult. No other business has the level of sophistication these companies have. This could be a really big challenge.
Yes we could go back to on-prem hosting, but that means increased costs of all kinds. And we all know how much hardware costs these days.
My girlfriend writes them in a word processor, prints them and keeps them organized alphabetically in a binder.
